Footwear leathers must be regularly cared for so that their beauty and comfort can be fully appreciated for years to come, and any imperfections, creases, shading or irregularities are to be considered intrinsic characteristics of the product.

Philippe Model creates unique items using high quality leathers and natural materials. Please note that any marks and variations in colour or grain are not to be considered defects but natural characteristics. Philippe Model occasionally uses different techniques of colouring, engraving or printing on leather where differences in colour or definition are inherent to technical processes.

We recommend storing the product in perfect condition, dry and clean, in a ventilated environment, away from sources of heat and direct sunlight or lamps, inside the special bags provided in the packaging. It is recommended not to put the shoes in direct contact with other leathers or fabrics and to avoid contact with alcohol, oils, solvents, and to ensure that crystals and embroidery are well protected.

Avoid getting the shoes wet; if this happens, dry them with a soft cloth without rubbing and let them dry at room temperature and away from heat sources.

It is only natural that the shape of the shoe changes over time. Philippe Model shoes mould themselves to the foot of the wearer and may undergo further changes as a result of long and prolonged wear. Leather, by its nature, tends over time to form wrinkles and folds: to prolong its elasticity and maintain the shape of the footwear, it is advisable to fill the inside with tissue paper when not worn.

Clean the shoes with a soft cloth or soft bristle brush: avoid using abrasive substances. Philippe Model Paris recommends that footwear should not be washed either by hand or in the washing machine to avoid damage that cannot be restored or refunded.

We recommend always using a shoehorn to wear trainers. Shoes should always be worn untied to avoid wear and tear and to preserve the shape of the heel and upper. To maintain the original properties of these shoes, we recommend careful use.
